The Story Behind The Name:
The Gathered Nest is a little nod to our Southern roots and the traditions that come with them. Growing up around people who appreciate the outdoors, hunting, and especially duck hunting, ducks have always been a familiar part of the culture we know and love. This piece was inspired simply by that connection and because, let's be honest, ducks are pretty great.
"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" - Matthew 6:26
