The Story Behind The Name:
The First Bite was inspired by one of the most familiar stories in Scripture. As we looked at the apple shaped cutout in this board, our minds went back to the Garden of Eden and the moment Adam and Eve took the fruit from the tree. While Scripture simply calls it fruit, the familiar imagery of an apple has become deeply connected to the story of humanity's first act of disobedience.
"When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye... she took some and ate it." - Genesis 3:6
The First Bite is a simple reminder that even the smallest moments can carry a story.
