The Story Behind The Name:
The Arch Bishop got its name somewhere in the midst of the sanding process. As the wood began to come to life, the natural grain formed beautiful arches that reminded us of the sweeping arches of the Delgado Memorial Bridge here in St. Petersburg. The checkered pattern added another layer of inspiration, bringing to mind a chessboard and the powerful, recognizable piece known as the bishop.
What started as a pattern in the wood became a name that felt perfectly suited for this one of a kind piece.
“It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect.” - Psalm 18:32
